The Board of Library Trustees, as elected officials, are accountable to the taxpayers and the people served by the library. Trustees, working closely with the director, establish policies, and determine the final budget. The library director is responsible for daily operation and procedures at the library. This chart created by the State of Connecticut and published by the American Libraries Association help to clarify the roles and duties of the Library Board of Trustees, the Friends of the Library and the Library Director as we all work together for the good of our library community.

Library Board of Trustees Meetings are open to the Public. All meetings are held at 9:00 AM in the Living Room on the main floor of the Library.
