Library Crawl

Aug 01
10:00am - 5:00pm

Dover Town Library

Its a pub crawl… only with Libraries! We invite you to spend a day visiting local libraries – find out what is special about each and what they have to offer to you and your family. This is an event for all ages – all you need is a love of libraries (and a car, definitely a car :)!

Its a Scavenger Hunt! Start at any library on the list (and get your “passport” with all relevant information). Each library has one thing that you must find and take a picture with. If you get to at least 5 sites and show your pictures to the librarians, you’ll get a highly coveted prize (one prize per family or group)! And then, post your pictures and tag us – we love our social media ?? We’ll keep you posted about a dedicated app for this event!

The participating libraries (so far) are: Medfield Public Library (of course!) the Bacon Free Library and the Morse Institute Library (Natick), the Dover Town Library, the 2 branches of the Framingham Public Library, the Goodnow Library (Sudbury), the Acton Memorial Library, the Sherborn Public Library, the Wayland Free Public Library, 2 branches of the Wellesley Free Library, the Weston Public Library, the Cary Memorial Library (Lexington), the Medway Public Library, the Millis Public Library, the Morrill Memorial Library (Norwood), the Belmont Public Library, the Randall Library (Stow), the Waltham Public Library, the two branches of the Westwood Public Library, the Winchester Public Library, the Woburn Public Library, Medford Public Library, the Needham Free Public Library, the Robbins Library (Arlington), the Public Library of Brookline, the Franklin Public Library, the Lincoln Public Library, and the Bedford Free Public Library!

Refreshments may be served to help you through the long, hard trek ??
