The Minuteman Library Network now provides free unlimited access to bostonglobe.com to resident cardholders of all member libraries through a 72-hour access pass, for up to 500 users at a time.

Follow this link or click on the Boston Globe link in our list of digital magazines and newspapers. Enter your Minuteman library card number, then follow the steps to create or log in with a BostonGlobe.com account. If successful, that account will receive a welcome email and have 72 hours of access to all subscriber content.

Restrictions:

• Our Globe subscription provides 500 user spots at a time. You may encounter the message “Currently, all Minuteman Library Network spots for Boston Globe access are being used. Please come back and try again later.” In that case, please try again at another time. Library staff are unable to view the details of user spots or know when a spot will be free
• This service is limited to resident and academic cardholders of Minuteman member libraries. Cardholders living outside of our service area, un-verified eCardholders, and non-cardholders are not eligible for this service.

After the 72-hour promo period has ended, that account will no longer have access to Globe content. To extend access, return to the link for a new pass and log in with the Boston Globe account you created. There is no limit for pass redemptions per account, only the limit of 500 spots at a time.

We’re pleased to offer new individual and small-group meeting space! The upper level now boasts two sound-dampening pods for individual users and a shelter with more modest sound-dampening for two users. A third shelter with a built-in table will arrive within the next month.

These pods are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and they’re great for conversation, studying, and reading. The individual pods also offer added privacy for phone calls, Zoom meetings, and more.

These study pods were made possible by a generous, unrestricted bequest from Donald and Mary Louise MacKay. Community support makes a world of difference to the services the Dover Town Library is able to offer.
