Our database offerings have changed. Due to federal and state budget cuts, many of the statewide databases offered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) are no longer available. The MBLC retained the most frequently used databases and ensured that the remaining resources supported a wide range of ages. You can find the full list of available databases on our website. Our list also includes databases and other resources provided by the Minuteman Library Network and by our own library.

If you relied on a resource that’s no longer available, some options from the Boston Public Library or other state providers may be useful for you. See this brochure for full information.

It isn’t easy to lose access to information you’ve found helpful. While the DTL staff can’t replace all of the resources from the MBLC, we’re here to help you find new options. Please visit or call if you’d like assistance.
